Last updated: October 2, 2026. How we use cookies and similar technologies on scrini.ai and how you control them.
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tags. We call them all cookies here. Some are set by us (first-party) and some by services we use (third-party).
These match the choices in our cookie banner.
| Category | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choice. The site cannot work properly without them | Always on |
| Analytics | Usage statistics that help us improve the site, such as pages visited | Off until you agree in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland. On elsewhere until you turn it off or send a GPC signal |
| Marketing | Measure campaigns and show relevant ads on other sites | Off until you agree in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland. On elsewhere until you turn it off or send a GPC signal |
| Preferences | Remember choices such as language and region | Off until you agree in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland. On elsewhere until you turn it off or send a GPC signal |
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cc | Necessary | Stores your cookie choices so the server and other tabs can respect them | 12 months |
| scrini-consent (local storage) | Necessary | Stores your choices, the policy version, the time and a random visitor ID | Until you clear it or the policy version changes |
| cc_country | Necessary | Stores your country, based on your IP address, to decide whether to show the cookie banner | 24 hours |
| _ga and _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics, when enabled through Google Tag Manager) | Analytics | Measure how the site is used | Up to 2 years |
| Advertising and campaign measurement tags, when used | Marketing | Measure campaigns and show relevant ads | Set by each provider |
Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland see a banner before any non-essential cookie is set. You can accept all, reject all or choose categories. Until you choose, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics, advertising, personalization and functionality storage denied, and ad data is redacted. When you choose, we update Google Consent Mode to match. Outside those regions, the banner is not shown and Analytics, Marketing and Preferences cookies are on by default. You can turn any of them off at any time with Cookie settings, and a Global Privacy Control signal turns them off automatically.
When you make a choice, we record a random visitor ID, your decision and categories, whether it came from the banner, the settings panel or a Global Privacy Control signal, your region and country, the policy version, the page and the time. We keep this record for about 13 months to show we respected your choice, then delete it. It does not include your name or email address. We ask again when this policy changes.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and you have not made a choice, we treat it as rejecting Analytics, Marketing and Preferences and record that it came from GPC. We honor GPC wherever you are, including as an opt-out of sale or sharing under California and other US state laws. If you made a choice before, you can change it at any time in Cookie settings.
Videos on our site use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and load only when you click play. Before that, only a preview image is loaded from i.ytimg.com. Clicking Book a demo opens a scheduling page from Cal.id, which may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
app.scrini.ai uses necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure. If we add analytics or support tools to the app that need consent, we will ask for it first and list them here.
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page to change or withdraw your consent at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work without necessary cookies.
We update this policy when the cookies we use change, and we ask for your consent again when that matters. Questions? Email our privacy team at hello@scrini.ai (subject: Privacy) or support@scrini.ai. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data more generally.
